Direct Capture Direct Capture is a web-hosted service that uses basic scanning and document imaging technology together with high-volume forms processing technologies to eliminate the necessity of keying any information from paper invoices and delivery receipts. Any questionable results are reviewed and corrected by payment coordinators before the data is posted to the customer’s accounts payable software or to Direct Access. Direct Capture is priced to be competitive with EDI and is ideal for medium and smaller volume vendors.

Use Direct Capture for the basic indexing required for Direct Access (i.e. vendor id and invoice number), to capture the P.O. number, total due and date due as well, or to capture all invoice information including line item detail. Delivery receipts and other documents can be indexed so that they can be automatically matched with invoices for Direct Access and Direct Payables Workflow.
