Invoicing
Web
Invoicing is a customer-provided facility for keying invoices
into the Web. When a vendor is finished keying, the Web application
transfers the invoice to the customer’s accounting system
for review and approval or rejection. Since keying is required,
this solution is best suited for the smallest vendors, those that
do not have any computer-based accounting system. With
support for ‘flipping purchase orders into invoices,’
Web Invoicing can be used for certain types of vendors if the
customer is able to apply strong pressure, since it requires keying
into the Web and upsets their normal process of printing an invoice
and stuffing it in an envelope.
